Krypto the Superdog

Serie animata con protagonista Krypto, un cane proveniente dal pianeta Krypton, dove vive assieme alla famiglia di Superman. Un giorno, accortosi che il pianeta è sul punto di esplodere, il padre del famoso supereroe costruisce un'astronave per fuggire nello spazio e vi fa salire a bordo Krypto al fine di effettuare un volo di prova, che inizialmente procede senza problemi. Il cane, però, a causa della sua sbadataggine, aziona un meccanismo che lo fa addormentare e l'astronave si perde nell'universo. Krypto giunge così sul pianeta Terra, dove si accorge di essere cresciuto e di avere acquisito dei poteri speciali. Tenendo nascosta la sua natura aliena, viene adottato dal piccolo Kevin Whitney e dalla sua famiglia trascorrendo le giornate come un qualunque altro cane terrestre, ma, all'occorrenza, trasformandosi nel supereroe Superdog qualora ne ravvisi la necessità. L'unico a conoscenza del suo segreto è Kevin, con il quale Krypto è in grado di comunicare grazie ad un traduttore universale che ha donato al ragazzo.
